  1. “What is this love between these two men?”
    Charles Frode AUTHOR WRITER
    February 9, 2019
I was a Trappist monk, and like Goldmund in Hermann Hesse’s, Narcissus and Goldmund, I met my Narcissus in that monastic sanctuary. We embarked on a 35 year friendship of silence and passion that mirrors uncannily Hesse’s archetypal account of those two medieval men.
I recently published my memoir of that extraordinary friendship, I Am Goldmund: My Spiritual Odyssey With Narcissus. I would like to send you a copy and at the same time ask you for your review. You can read the first chapter at my website, www.charlesfrodeauthor.com. You can also peruse my Amazon Writer’s Page, and read professional reviews of this book and my 3 short story collections on Kirkus Reviews.
I am currently an author / writer and a master English Language educator living in Eagle Idaho. I work with incarcerated juveniles helping them graduate high school by passing their English classes and learning how to use writing to express themselves.
Let me know where I can send your copy of this unusual memoir. I appreciate and value your time. Thank you.
